Danila Poyarkov
I build open-source tools for coding agents, design automation, and the Elixir ecosystem.
I’m interested in what comes after generation: how an agent inspects its changes, understands a running system, and checks that the result is actually correct.
Selected projects
- OpenPencil — an open-source design editor and Figma alternative, with structured documents that people and agents can inspect and edit.
- figma-use — a CLI for structural queries, editing, diffs, and exports in Figma.
- Reach — code and data flow, effect analysis, and architecture checks for BEAM projects.
- Volt — frontend builds and a development server for Phoenix, including HMR and Tailwind.
- QuickBEAM — a JavaScript runtime for the BEAM, with browser-like APIs backed by OTP.
Writing
-
An end-to-end open-source platform for startup factories, assembled one missing building block at a time.
-
Long-term direction, conversational boundaries, and the limits of current models.
-
QuickBEAM 0.11 adds a JavaScript interpreter written in Elixir, so the BEAM can preempt, limit, and supervise it.
-
Reading existing code, understanding architecture, and checking for drift.
-
Models built to generate text are still bad at writing it, and continuing someone else’s fiction shows why.
-
Predictable habits, a plan the model keeps up to date, and prompts that keep getting shorter.
